Must-Reads for Creatives 2.5.16

This week’s Must-Reads for Creatives spur change + creative thinking (especially amid winter’s lull!). Read one of my all-time favorite posts: How to Use the Winter Blahs as Creative Fuel. Mindfulness helps us appreciate the unique qualities of the current season (like winter’s encouragement of introspection). Still, I admit that dreaming of spring energizes us, so I share lots of botanical art too!

Must-Reads for Creatives 2.5.16 - Spur Change Amid Winter's Lull -

What are you up to this weekend? I feel good after Zumba this morning, and I look forward to a night out with my husband, Eric, tonight. My daughter, Odette, won’t stop asking if it’s time for the sleepover at Grandma and Grandpa’s house tonight! Since this week’s post shares two pieces about this new book, I’ll be picking it up: Originals: How Non-Conformists Move the World by Adam Grant.

Also, while my girls write out their Valentine’s cards for school, I’ll be writing my February newsletter to go out on Valentine’s Day (I’ve got a fun announcement to help you with the transition from winter to spring, so make sure you’re signed up!). Have a good one!

  1. Great links this week! Jen Louden is a big inspiration for me. My Mom always had her books and now I do. I shared a few of the links on FB. Love those floral inspired posts at the end.
